How far is our office from Lake Balboa?
Saticoy Street runs right through Lake Balboa and keeps going west into Reseda, and our office is on it, between White Oak Avenue and Balcom Avenue. From Balboa Boulevard and Saticoy it's about a mile and a half west. From the Victory Boulevard side near the lake itself, Victory west to White Oak Avenue, then north to Saticoy, is about the same. From the Van Nuys Airport edge along Sherman Way, head west to White Oak and turn north. Call it 5 to 10 minutes in normal traffic, and the route never needs the 405 or the 101.

After that, our dentist quotes your specific treatment in writing before any work begins. We accept all PPO dental plans, and Cherry, CareCredit and Sunbit financing plus in-house payment plans are available. - From Balboa Boulevard and Saticoy Street: west on Saticoy about a mile and a half; we're between White Oak and Balcom.
- From the lake and Anthony C. Beilenson Park: Balboa Boulevard north to Saticoy, then west; or Victory Boulevard west to White Oak Avenue and north half a mile.
- From Woodley Park and the Sepulveda Basin: Woodley Avenue north to Saticoy, then west through Lake Balboa.
- From the Van Nuys Airport side: Sherman Way west to White Oak Avenue, then north.
Parking is on site. The G Line's Balboa station is on the busway south of Victory; from there a bus up Balboa or a short ride puts you on Saticoy.

The office is closed after 6:00 PM on Monday and Wednesday, after 7:00 PM on Tuesday and Thursday, after 5:00 PM on Friday, and on most Saturdays and every Sunday, and we say so plainly. The phone is answered by a real person at every hour. A Lake Balboa toothache at 11 PM gets your details taken and a held chair for the first opening, usually 9:00 AM the next business day. Do you send records to my regular dentist?
Yes, with your permission. Many patients keep a family dentist for routine care and use us for the emergency. We treat the problem and forward a summary and the X-rays so your regular office isn't starting from scratch.
My kid got hurt at the park and a tooth is loose. What do I do?
Keep the tooth as still as possible, don't let them bite on it, and call us while you drive; Saticoy west is 5 to 10 minutes. If the tooth is fully out, put it back in the socket if you can or keep it in milk. If there's a possible jaw injury or a head injury, the ER comes first.
Can I be seen after work on a weekday?
On Tuesday and Thursday, yes, until 7:00 PM, which from Lake Balboa means leaving at 6:30 still works. On Monday and Wednesday the last times run to 6:00 PM, and on Friday to 5:00 PM. Call as early in the day as you can and the front desk holds you a slot.
