How far is our office from Winnetka?
Saticoy Street runs east from Winnetka straight into Reseda, and our office is on it between White Oak Avenue and Balcom Avenue. From Winnetka Avenue and Saticoy it's about three miles east, with signals at Corbin, Tampa and Reseda Boulevard along the way. From Winnetka Avenue and Sherman Way, Sherman Way east to White Oak Avenue and then north half a mile is about the same. From the Roscoe Boulevard side, Roscoe east to White Oak and south. Call it 7 to 12 minutes, and none of the routes need a freeway.

The visit starts at $99 for the exam and X-rays for patients paying without insurance; with a PPO plan, they're billed to the plan. After that, our dentist quotes your specific treatment in writing before any work begins. We accept all PPO dental plans, and Cherry, CareCredit and Sunbit financing plus in-house payment plans are available. The office is closed after 6:00 PM on Monday and Wednesday, after 7:00 PM on Tuesday and Thursday, after 5:00 PM on Friday, and on most Saturdays and every Sunday, and we say so plainly. The phone is answered by a real person at every hour. A Winnetka toothache at 11 PM gets your details taken and a held chair for the first opening, usually 9:00 AM the next business day. One Saturday a month we open by appointment; ask which. Swelling that's spreading toward the eye or throat means an emergency room first, then us for the tooth. Ibuprofen or acetaminophen, taken as the label directs before the drive, will have started working by the time you park. If a tooth is out, it goes back in the socket or into milk, not a tissue. Are you closer to Winnetka than the offices in Canoga Park or Woodland Hills?
For most of Winnetka it's close either way, and the useful difference is whether a same-day chair is open and whether the office does the extraction or root canal on site. Ours does. Call (323) 433-6458 and the front desk will tell you the quickest route.
Do you send records to my regular dentist in Winnetka?
Yes, with your permission. We treat the emergency and forward a summary and the X-rays so your regular office isn't starting from scratch at your next checkup.
My crown came off at dinner on a Tuesday. Can I still come tonight?
On Tuesday and Thursday we're open until 7:00 PM, so call right away and the front desk will tell you whether there's an evening time. Keep the crown in a bag, don't glue it, and read the lost crown page on the way.
My kid knocked a tooth loose at school. What do I do?
Keep the tooth as still as possible, don't let them bite on it, and call us while you drive; Saticoy east is 7 to 12 minutes. If the tooth is fully out, put it back in the socket if you can or keep it in milk. If there's a possible jaw injury or a head injury, the ER comes first.
Do you have Spanish-speaking staff?
Sí. Our staff speak Spanish during office hours, and the Spanish side of the site starts at /es/. From the first call to the aftercare instructions, the whole visit can be in Spanish. The service area page lists drive times for the rest of the Valley.
